Chard Hockey Club was established in 1907 it now runs 3 Men's & 3 Ladies sides.

The Men's 1st won promotion in 2007 & 2008 and now play in South Division 1,  Men's 2nd (Chard A) were promoted in 2009 & play in  South East Division 2 & Men's 3rd (Chard B)  who won promotion in 2008  play in South Eastern District Division 1.

The Ladies play were promoted 2009 & play in Sedgemoor 1 & the two Ladies Sunday sides play in the The Kitson & Trotman Friendly League on Sunday.
